Hurricane Help

Collin Creek Mall is among other GGP shopping centers supporting the American Red Cross Hurricane 2008 relief efforts.

Collin Creek Mall and other Dallas-Fort Worth-area shopping centers owned by General Growth Properties are teaming up with the American Red Cross to help raise money for assistance to victims of this year's hurricanes - including Hurricane Gustav, officials said.

Collin Creek Mall, Hulen Mall, Stonebriar Centre, The Parks at Arlington, Town East Mall and Vista Ridge Mall are displaying hurricane relief donation signage throughout the malls, encouraging shoppers to donate through the malls' websites or via (800) HELP-NOW, the Red Cross's phone number. No funds will be accepted at the malls. Donations enable the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of this year's hurricanes, including the most recent storm, Hurricane Gustav. Collin Creek Mall, North Central Expressway and Plano Parkway in Plano, can be contacted at; www.collincreekmall.com; (972) 422-1070.
