Ashley Cherry of The Colony, daughter of Joe and Tina Cherry, has been accepted at Harding University for the fall 2007 semester.

Cherry attended The Colony High School, where she was involved in National Honor Society, dance/drill team, National Society of High School Scholars and Who’s Who Among American High School Students.

She will be welcomed to campus Aug. 16 for Student Impact, an orientation program designed to help freshmen and new students make the adjustment to college life.

Harding had a record enrollment this year of more than 6,100 students from 49 states and 53 foreign countries. It is the largest private university in Arkansas and attracts more National Merit Scholars than any other private university in the state. Harding also maintains campuses in Australia, Chile, England, France/Switzerland, Greece, Italy and Zambia.
